Kata Tjuta. This World Heritage listed huge rock formation photographed by Maureen Short, from Uluru. It lies some 32 kilometers west of Uluru. They are remarkable geological and landform features in a contrasting, relatively flat, sand-plain environment. The traditional land owners of Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, are direct descendants of the beings who created our lands during the Tjukurpa (Creation Time). They have always been here.
